As a strategic marketer with over 30 years of experience in the energy, financial services, retail consumer, member based associations and not-for-profit entities, Ellen is responsible for managing existing relationships, business development, professional development and agency performance. She is broadly recognized for her expertise in strategic planning, research insights, marketing communications planning and analytics. Prior to beginning her entrepreneurial adventure at Eire in 1997, Ellen was an Account Director at Wunderman Worldwide, leading clients in their direct and data-driven marketing efforts. Ellen currently works with clients including The American Bar Endowment, The American Dental Association, BP, ComEd, Discover, The Morton Arboretum and NiCor. She serves on the Executive Committee for The Catherine Cook School, and is the Committee Chair for Member Retention for the Women’s Energy Network. Eire is a WBENC certified diversity supplier/women owned business.
Jim is a founding partner of Eire Direct and he is always looking new ways to do business and mine relationships. Always a creative marketer, Jim has helped clients in the oil and financial industries make money for years. He’s lent his marketing skills on a pro-bono basis to both SIDS of Illinois and First Candle, the national SIDS organization. He currently heads Angels for Hospice, the foundation arm of Angels Grace Hospice. Discover, Marathon and Valero are just a few of the businesses who have enjoyed Jim’s quest for the newest idea. And as he’s proud to say, he’s not afraid to work with other people that are smarter than he is. Together, great minds can accomplish great things.
Katie (McCracken) Moore
VP, Director of Creative and Production.
Responsible for managing the entire creative process at Eire, Katie is also our lead copy writer. Online or on paper, acquisition or retention, lead generation or loyalty, Katie has deep experience in everything from full direct mail campaigns to customer communication streams, sales materials to event marketing, simple brochures to full catalogs. Katie helps the creative team deliver work they are proud of while meeting client expectations. She has a long history with Eire and has worked with clients including BP, ARCO, ComEd, American Bar Association, Discover, Nicor and The Morton Arboretum.
When it comes to numbers, Marcia doesn’t mess around. Projections, budgets, analysis, reconciliation, breakeven, accruals, operating cost, and cash flow, she keeps it all under control daily, weekly, monthly and beyond. No one loves our timesheets like Marcia, as they’re the key to helping her reconcile estimated vs. actuals on every project that comes through our doors. She’s an integral member of the team that manages Eire at the highest level, and her contributions are essential.
Erin is an integral part of the Account Service team at Eire. She manages the daily business of the ComEd, American Bar Endowment and Discover accounts. That means she juggles projects of every shape and size without missing a detail on a single one of them. Direct mail, email marketing, training materials, sales collateral, and branding assignments are just a few of the examples of jobs she manages. Focused on both B2C and B2B communications, she's responsible for a variety of projects including awareness, enrollment, education, and outreach in both print and digital channels. She works side-by-side with the client from strategy and planning and throughout the creative and production process.
