Eire Direct Marketing, LLC, located in the River North area of downtown Chicago, started business in 1987. With approximately 20 employees, the lean, powerful, Eire team of multi-talented professionals offers savvy, flexible, price-competitive marketing solutions. Eire is led by two partners, Ellen Best and Jim Kearney. While she says potãto and he says potáto, it’s a relationship that works!

Ellen Best. In 1994, Ellen joined Eire and brought along with her a wealth of experience. From clients like Amoco, Sears, Business Week (McGraw Hill), and Hyatt Hotels, to the Chicago Tribune, Blue Cross and Levi Strauss, Ellen knows all aspects of our business inside and out. Ellen’s 24+ years experience in strategic planning, marketing program execution, new product development and corporate branding has been key to Eire’s success. Ellen doesn’t let her Greek heritage get in the way of Eire’s Irish roots. In fact, she adds the OPA! to the business and the fun.

Jim Kearney. Jim founded Eire Direct Marketing, Inc. in 1987 and later added two more partners to venture into the General Advertising agency business. Jim and his partners pursued separate interests in 1997, when he joined with Ellen Best to form Eire Direct Marketing, LLC. Jim has over 25 years of direct marketing experience working on both the client and agency side of the business. He concentrates on the company’s enhancement services/syndication and club membership programs, working hands-on with his clients to improve their bottom line. Jim’s attraction to “the old sod” means he’s not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty at work. Plus, it gives him the perfect excuse to host an annual St. Patty’s party for all our business friends.
