5 Ideas for Working Smart From Home

Whether you have returned to the office, are working a hybrid of at-home, at-office, or will be working from home from here on out, here are a few ideas we have found to help us stay on track when working from home.

  1. Get dressed! By kicking off your day with a routine, you’ll be more productive.

  2. Create a designated workspace. It will help keep you organized and can act as a “Do Not Disturb!” zone for your family. Or, if you’ve already been working in the same space for months, consider reorganizing to keep your area productive and fresh!

  3. Consider a job tracking app. We’re using Trello but there are lots to choose from. It’s great for the environment when you cut down on paper!

  4. Eat a healthy lunch. Don’t be distracted by the kitchen. Plan a healthy lunch ahead of time and you’ll work better and feel better, too.

  5. Face-to-Face time.  If you’re like us, those Zoom and Skype meetings can sometimes feel redundant. It’s still important to connect with your team and see those smiling faces sometimes.  Consider mixing it up a little with a theme, like wear a crazy hat day.
